Hours: 6:00am- 2:30pm Monday- Friday
Pay: $20.00- $29.00 an hour
Job Summary
The Cabinet Maker Finished Carpenter is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing custom and production cabinetry in a wood shop environment. This role requires strong woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from drawings and specifications to produce high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities
Construct custom and semi-custom cabinets, casework, and related millwork components
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and sand wood and wood-based materials
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, including table saws, planers, routers, sanders, and CNC equipment (if applicable)
Apply finishes such as stains, sealers, and lacquers as required
Assemble cabinet boxes, doors, drawer boxes, and hardware
Maintain quality standards, ensuring accuracy, durability, and appearance of finished products
Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Collaborate with shop supervisors, designers, and other carpenters to meet production schedules
Assist with material handling, inventory, and shop maintenance as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery methods
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency with woodworking tools and equipment
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
FINISH Carpentry, Cabinetry. Has finishing experience and has made cabinets- woodworking
